Send a messageTap the add button on the Collection screen. Enter the details by hand, scan the label, or scan a barcode. You can review and edit everything before you save.
Cellar Pro reads the label with Apple’s on-device text recognition and suggests the producer, name, vintage and region it finds. The photo is never uploaded. Check the suggestions before saving, because unusual fonts and curved labels can be misread.
When you scan a barcode, only the barcode number is sent to Open Food Facts, a public product database. If it has a match, Cellar Pro uses the result to fill in details. Many wines and spirits are not in the database, so you may need to enter some details yourself.
Open Settings, then Cellar Map, and add a location such as a cellar, fridge or rack with its number of rows and columns. When you add or edit a bottle, choose the location and its row, column and bin. The map then shows each filled slot.
Give a bottle a peak year or drink-by year, then turn on Drinking Window Alerts in Settings. You choose how many days before the peak and before the drink-by date you are reminded, and you can add a weekly digest. Allow notifications for Cellar Pro when asked.
Sign in to iCloud with the same Apple ID on each iPhone and iPad, then turn on sync in Cellar Pro’s Settings, under iCloud. Your collection is stored in your private iCloud database. There is no separate Cellar Pro account.
Open Settings, then Export & Import. Export Full Backup creates a JSON file with bottles, locations, tasting notes, consumption logs, professional ratings and photos. Import from Backup restores it and adds new items without removing existing ones. Export to CSV saves bottle details for spreadsheets.
To bring bottles in from elsewhere, use Settings, then Batch Import, with a CSV file, a CellarTracker or Vivino export, or the clipboard.
An Apple Watch on watchOS 10 or later, paired with an iPhone running Cellar Pro on iOS 17 or later. The Watch app shows a summary sent from your iPhone, so open Cellar Pro on your iPhone if the Watch looks out of date.
Monthly is $4.99 a month and Yearly is $29.99 a year, and both start with a 7-day free trial for eligible Apple IDs. Lifetime is $49.99 once, with no trial. Every option unlocks the same features. Prices are in US dollars, and the App Store sets local prices.
Monthly and Yearly include a 7-day introductory free trial for new subscribers with an eligible Apple ID. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts at the plan price. Lifetime has no trial.
On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Cellar Pro. You can also use Manage Subscription in Cellar Pro’s Settings. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Access continues until the end of the period you paid for.
Apple handles all App Store refunds. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with the Apple ID you used to buy.
Sign in with the Apple ID you used to buy, open Cellar Pro and tap Restore Purchases on the plans screen or in Settings. Subscriptions and Lifetime both restore on any iPhone or iPad with that Apple ID.
No. Cellar Pro purchases are not available through Family Sharing, so each Apple ID needs its own plan.
No. There is no account, no analytics and no tracking, and your collection never reaches the developer. The only network requests are the ones you trigger: barcode lookup, price lookup links, App Store purchases and optional iCloud sync. The Privacy Policy has the details.
Delete bottles, locations and notes in the app, or delete the app to remove everything stored on the device. If you used iCloud sync, also remove Cellar Pro’s data in your iCloud storage settings on iPhone or iPad.
