Terms of Use

1. Product description

Cellar Pro helps users manage wine and spirits collections. The app includes collection records, storage locations, label scanning, barcode lookup, value tracking, drinking windows, tasting notes, imports, exports, widgets, Apple Watch views, and optional iCloud sync.

2. Age requirement

You must be at least 17 years old to use Cellar Pro. The app is intended for lawful personal collection management and does not promote underage drinking.

3. Purchases, subscriptions, and trial

Cellar Pro is a paid product with three App Store purchase options:

• Monthly: $4.99 per month, with a one-week introductory free trial for eligible Apple IDs.
• Yearly: $29.99 per year, with a one-week introductory free trial for eligible Apple IDs.
• Lifetime: $49.99 one-time purchase for permanent access, with no trial.

Prices are managed by the App Store and may vary by region. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when a purchase is confirmed. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings after purchase.

4. Restore, cancellation, and refunds

Use Restore Purchases in the app to restore an active subscription or prior lifetime purchase on a device signed in to the same Apple ID. Subscription cancellation is handled in your Apple account settings. Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com according to Apple's refund policies.

5. Your data

You retain ownership of collection records, notes, photos, and other content you create in Cellar Pro. The app processes that content only to provide the product features described in the app and the Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to use Cellar Pro only for lawful purposes. You must not attempt to reverse engineer the app, interfere with its operation, remove proprietary notices, transmit harmful code, or use the app in a way that violates applicable law.

7. Third-party services

Cellar Pro may use Apple services for purchases, iCloud sync, notifications, and on-device frameworks. Barcode lookup can use Open Food Facts. Price lookup actions can open external browser searches. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

8. Accuracy of information

Collection values, drinking windows, label recognition results, barcode lookup results, food pairings, and external price search results may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing records and making your own purchasing, storage, insurance, and consumption decisions.

9. Intellectual property

Cellar Pro, including its design, code, logo, and app content provided by the developer, is owned by Shankar Dutt or licensed to him and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of the app or its intellectual property to you.

10. Warranty disclaimer

Cellar Pro is provided as available and without warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law. The app may contain errors, may not identify every bottle correctly, and may not remain uninterrupted.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shankar Dutt and DuttLabs are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use of Cellar Pro. Total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Cellar Pro in the 12 months before the claim.

12. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the app changes. Continued use of Cellar Pro after an update means you accept the revised terms.
